In his role as executive vice president, Per Göthe is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of First Advantage CREDCO’s support services teams, which include information technology, corporate development, marketing, consumer handling, legal and compliance, facilities, purchasing, and strategic vendor relations.
Göthe joined the company in 1997 as senior vice president of product and corporate development, bringing over 13 years of experience in all aspects of the credit reporting industry. He is widely recognized for the role he played in developing the TransUnion version of Fair Isaac’s delinquency score. Göthe also led the development of numerous other scorecards used for credit risk assessment.
Prior to his current role, Göthe served as president of one of First Advantage’s credit reporting divisions from 1998 to 2003. He has been a member of the board of directors for CDIA, the Consumer Data Industry Association, since 2000. Göthe is a graduate of Columbia University.
